Angela Noelle (Ryan) Zink

On Sept, 26, 2009, Angela Noelle (Ryan) Zink passed away peacefully at her home in Fife, Wash., at the age of 37 after a year-long battle with Stage IV Metastatic Melanoma.

Angela was born on Dec. 18, 1971 in Rice Lake, Wis. to James and Sharon (McFarlane) Ryan. Angela attended Oak Harbor Middle, Junior, and High School, graduating in 1988.

Angela married Samuel Lynn in 1990. On Oct. 11, 1995, they welcomed a daughter, Ashley Nicole Lynn. In 2000, Angie and Sam were divorced. Angie and Ashley moved back to Washington to be near family and friends.

In 2001, Angie attended Clover Valley Technical College and received her certificate as a Medical Assistant. After graduation, she worked for Dr. Ronald Graf, Endocrinologist in Tacoma as a Drug Trial Research Coordinator for the treatment of diabetes and heart disease.

Angie married Justin Zink of Tacoma on Nov. 30, 2002. Justin and Angela welcomed a son, Jacob Christopher Zink, on March 10, 2003.

Angela leaves behind her husband, Justin Zink; daughter, Ashley Lynn; son, Jacob Zink; parents, Jim and Sharon Ryan; grandmother, Maurine McFarlane; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Oct. 10, at 1 p.m. at the Community of Christ Church, 11507 Scott Rd., Bow, Wash.
