Gabriel Chrisman takes a ride on an old-fashioned bicycle in Coupeville Tuesday morning. He and his wife, Sarah, decided to get dressed in Victorian era clothing and ride their old-timey bikes from their home in Port Townsend, across the ferry and up Whidbey Island to Deception Pass. While Sarah rode a more conventional bicycle, Gabriel prefers his 1887 “ordinary,” a type of bike with a large front wheel and a much smaller rear wheel.
