Inventors can get help with strategy and community through Slingshot, a new program intended to help bring inventions to market, said the program’s creator, Bellingham-based not-for-profit Northwest Innovation Resource Center.

The center is hoping to crowd-fund Slingshot through Indiegogo.

Incentives to donors include a private tour and conversation about innovation at Century Link Field with Ray Colliver, retired VP of design and construction for Vulcan; and coffee and discussion with Howard Behar, retired president of Starbucks.
