Port seeks public input on Greenbank Farm future

The Port of Coupeville Board of Commissioners will be holding a special meeting Wednesday evening to seek public input on the future of Greenbank Farm.

The Port of Coupeville Board of Commissioners will be holding a special meeting Wednesday evening to seek public input on the future of Greenbank Farm.

The board would like to hear what the public wants out of the farm and what parameters the board should use when accepting requests for proposals for future farm management.

The current management contract is up in June 2015.The meeting is 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 16 at Greenbank Farm, Barn A.

A second meeting will be held 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 30 in the Island County Commissioner’s Hearing Room.
