In response to a few of the points in Mr. Burton’s Feb. 23 letter, I offer the following. I am unaware of any government program attempting to foist extremist views of morality into the most private part of your life, namely your bedroom. No conservative cares about your actions in your bedroom unless they involve children. Indeed, it is liberals who are constantly in our face and have invaded our schools, churches and Fourth of July parades with their perversions and attack any institution such as the Boy Scouts which offers resistance.

If you feel your taxes are too low, or more likely from a liberal view that your neighbor doesn’t pay enough, on your next trip to the county treasurer’s office to pay your property taxes drop off a few hundred extra dollars. Or simply sit down and write a check to the U.S. Treasury.
