Anyone looking for an alternative kind of election coverage should check out a live program produced by students from Oak Harbor High School and three other high schools across the country.

Election Night Live will begin at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday on Wildcat TV, which is channel 21 throughout Whidbey Island, and online at www.esenetworks.com/profile.aspx?id=51784.

Students in Chris Douthitt’s Wildcat TV Productions class and Jim Crouch’s civics classes will be covering the issues and results; they will also interview candidates and elections experts via Skype, according to Douthitt.
