Oak Harbor earns win over Everett | Swimming

Marissa Morris and Taliah Black each collected four firsts for the Wildcats.

Morris took the 200 freestyle (2:12.22) and 100 backstroke (1:06.08), while Black won the 200 individual medley (2:26.98) and 100 breaststroke (1:14.14).

Morris and Black, along with Jillian Pape and Muriel Empinado, captured the 200 free relay (1:57.08); Morris, Erica Sugatan, Sophie Dickinson and Naomi Garcia were winners of the 400 free relay (4:30.68); and Black, Sugatan, Pape and Empinado took the 200 medley relay (2:09.86).

In addition to two relay wins, Pape finished first in the 50 free (27.87), and Anna Kate Fahey won the 100 free (1:11.35).

The Wildcats (2-1) compete at home for the first time when they meet Stanwood at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21, at John Vanderzicht Pool. Stanwood (1-0) defeated Everett (0-2) 107-78 Tuesday.
