An Oak Harbor man is dead after the motorcycle he was driving collided with another vehicle on Oak Harbor Road Friday evening.

Steven Kreig Johnson, 30, was driving a 2006 Suzuki motorcycle northbound on Oak Harbor Road when Nichole Leemarie Morrow, 27, pulled out of a driveway in the 2800 block and failed to yield to Johnson, according to a press memo from Washington State Patrol.

The two vehicles collided and Johnson was transported to Harborview Medical Center and Hospital in Seattle.

His father, Jeffrey Johnson, said the accident took his son’s life.
