Jeremiah Myles

Jeremiah Wade “Goldie” Myles, 22, of Oak Harbor, died at his home April 24, 2005.

Jeremiah was born in Redwood City, Calif., April 2, 1983, to Jeffrey and Willisteen Myles. He lived in the Bay Area before moving to Tacoma with his family in 1990. While in Tacoma, Jeremiah attended Whitman Elementary School and Stewart Middle School and was an honor student. He also attended Lincoln High School and the Lincoln Tree Farm. In 1999 he moved to Oak Harbor, where he attended Oak Harbor High School.

Jeremiah touched many lives. He was a very loving son, brother, father and friend. To carry on the memories of his life, Jeremiah had many Uncles and Aunties and a host of relatives and friends who will deply miss him and cherish his memories forever. He is survived by his son, Jeremiah W. Myles, Jr.; his parents, Jeffrey and Willisteen Myles of Oak Harbor; his three brothers, Jeffrey, Justin and Jarell Myles, all of Oak Harbor; his sister, Lapria Myles of Santa Clara, Calif.; his grandfather, Dee Williams of Oak Harbor; two nieces, Malia and Ilyshyanna Myles and two nephews, Reginald Mason and Marcus Myles; also, his fiance, Heather Burrow of Oak Harbor.

Visitation will be Monday, May 2, from 1 to 8 p.m., at Burley Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be Tuesday, May 3, at 1 p.m. at Lighthouse Christian Center, 1767 N.E. Regatta Dr., Rev. Roosevelt Rumble officiating. Arrangements by Burley Funeral Chapel.
