At 2:59 p.m., a woman reported a man showed up to the bank near the corner of Highway 20 and Main Street claiming to be a cop. He refused to show his badge and said she’d get a letter in the mail.

At 2:34 p.m., a caller reported an unattended child in a car on Engle Road.

Friday, April 24

At 9:13 p.m., a resident reported her husband was “going postal.” He pushed her in the leg.

At 12:24 p.m., a caller reported someone stole his Nike bag. The alleged thief then boarded an Island Transit bus.

Thursday, April 23

At 3:17 p.m., a caller reported an assault taking place at the jail.

At 12:13 p.m., a Grateful Acre Place resident reported someone drove a two-tone blue, Dodge Ram onto his property.

At 12:07 p.m., a caller reported finding a small, fluffy dog on NE Fourth Street.

At 12:32 a.m., a caller reported a laundry basket and hangers in the northbound lane of South Main Street near the intersection with Highway 20.

Tuesday, April 21

At 11:49 a.m., a caller reported a man went into a portable toilet near the intersection of South Main Street and Terry Road prior to be taken into custody by Island County Sheriff’s deputies.

Monday, April 20

At 12:56 p.m., a caller reported a generator stolen out of a softball shed located on Terry Road.

At 2:31 a.m., deputy marshals assisted the Oak Harbor Police Department with an assault at a Bayshore Drive location.
