Tuesday, Feb. 24

At 1:47 a.m., a Kimberly Way resident reported that someone was trying to break into her home.

Monday, Feb. 23

At 12:32 a.m., an Alamo Way resident reported that an unknown person was trying to get into her living room window.

At 12:53 a.m., a caller reported that a suspicious man on Taylor Road was yelling “why don’t you kill me.”

At 10:03 a.m., a woman at Hug’Um and Luv’M Daycare reported that a 10-year-old client stole her cell phone. She got the phone back, but she said she wants to file a theft report.

At 1:33 p.m., a couple of callers reported that the driver of a red Dodge pickup was speeding and passing cars on the shoulder of Highway 20 near Monkey Hill Road.

At 1:53 p.m., a brush fire was reported behind the Pizza Factory on Ault Field Road.

At 2:21 p.m., a woman on Donald Avenue reported that a suspicious two-liter bottle of an unknown substance was in the newspaper tube attached to her mailbox.

At 3 p.m., a woman reported that someone came onto her Devries Road property and cut down trees.

At 4:49 p.m., a Custer Street resident complained that her parents were trying to enforce a program of sobriety.

Sunday, Feb. 22

At 6:49 a.m., a man reported he was assaulted on Scenic Heights Road.

At 9:55 a.m., there was a report of a 7-year-old boy with a bicycle hitchhiking on Highway 20 near Jones Road.

At 12:19 p.m., a Colonial Way resident reported that someone threw a garbage bag full of trash in the caller’s yard.

At 3:44 p.m., a caller reported that a brown pit bull was running down Pondilla Way.

At 6:29 p.m., there was a report that a Volkswagen bus was on fire on Boon Road. The fire was extinguished before firefighters arrived.

At 7:55 p.m., a caller at a Taylor Road home reported chasing off a prowler outside.

At 8:12 p.m., a bus driver reported that a car hit a dog on Highway 20 and the animal was lying in the middle of the road, severely injured.

Saturday, Feb. 21

At 12:31 a.m., a Paul Avenue resident reported that exploding noises were shaking the house.

At 1:18 a.m., a woman reported that a friend took her phone from her pocket at a bar on Goldie Road and won’t give it back.

At 6:13 p.m., a woman reported running over a dog on Highway 20 at Jones Road.

ASt 9:20 p.m., a caller reported that a woman was being beaten at a house next to the cemetery.

Friday, Feb. 20

At 9:21 a.m., a Dewey Drive resident reported a continued problem with a person throwing cigarette butts in the street in front of the caller’s house.

At 5:03 p.m., a caller reported that the caller’s dad and a neighbor were in a fight on Whitehall Place.

Thursday, Feb. 19

At 4:30 a.m., a woman reported that she fell asleep while driving home and went off the roadway. Her car was stuck in “marsh type land.”

At 6:23 a.m., a West Beach Road resident who called 911 rambled and stated “police are so rude” and “no wonder people don’t want to deal with you.”

At 11:06 a.m., there was a report that a deer was hit and killed on Laurel Lane.

At 11:36 a.m., a caller reported that a pickup had been abandoned on Balda Road several years ago.

At 3:41 p.m., a caller reported that she was terrified because of a loose Rottweiler in the Boon Road neighborhood.

At 3:47 p.m., there was a report of a sheen on the water at the Oak Harbor marina.

At 6:01 p.m., a caller reported that a bloodhound constantly barks on Fort Casey Road.

At 6:10 p.m., a Landing Circle resident reported that her 15-year-old daughter was attacking her.

At 6:46 p.m., a driver reported seeing flames coming from a dumpster next to a Highway 20 church.

Wednesday, Feb 18

At 12:10 p.m., a caller reported that a man was camping in a tent on the caller’s NW Crosby Road property.

At 3:10 p.m., a Poplar Lane resident reported that someone shot homes in his motorhome.

Tuesday, Feb. 17

At 4:25 p.m., a woman reported that people on Mitscher Drive were playing music too loud and they cussed at her when she asked them to turn it down.

At 4:25 p.m., a caller reported that a swamp boat was driving on the beach at Monroe Landing Road. The caller said the boat was very loud and chased people off the beach.

At 4:53 p.m., a caller reported that someone turned on the water for cows on Hollyhunt Lane.
