Hospital has a heating problem

I had an operation at Whidbey General Hospital. The personnel were without exception well trained, very helpful and efficient. I spent time in the operating room, ICU and a ward.

Mr. Tom Tomasino, CEO, is to be commended for the way he has hired, trained and supervised the personnel at the hospital.

The only problem that I had in the hospital was with the heating system. The temperature kept varying. I asked the nurse several times to turn the heat up or down. I asked her why didn’t they change the thermostats to digital and save enough in heating expenses to save a lot of money. She said it is not the thermostats, it’s the furnace. It is over 30 years old and the output varies a lot.

Too bad the bond didn’t pass. Maybe next time.
