Whidbey Playhouse announces that 2008-09 season tickets are now on sale at the box office.

Season tickets are described in a playhouse news release as a great way to enjoy all of the shows offered by the playhouse, and they also make great gifts. Whether you want reserved seats for a particular night, with the option to exchange them one time each show at no additional charge, or would like to pay in advance to enjoy 10 to 15 percent savings against single ticket prices, season tickets make great sense both ways.

Two of this season’s premiere productions are “Leading Ladies,” a comedy running Sept. 12 to Oct. 4, and “Peter Pan,” opening Nov. 7.

Following will be the comedy “Glorious,” the drama “Night Watch,” and the musical comedy “Nunsense.”

Enjoy all five shows for one season ticket price. Get a group together to attend the show and have a dinner in town for a great night out, or enjoy a matinee.

Season tickets are $73 adults, and $68 for seniors 60 and over, or youth, ages 4 to 17. Parking is free for all shows.

Tickets may be purchased at the Whidbey Playhouse, 730 SE Midway Blvd., Oak Harbor. Call 679-2237 or visit www.whidbeyplayhouse.com.
