Marysville-Pilchuck scored in every inning to steadily pull away from the Oak Harbor High School softball team for a 13-2, six-inning win Tuesday, April 15.

The Tomahawks (4-0, 7-3), who lead the Wesco North, slugged eight hits, three for extra bases, to build a 5-0 lead after three innings. They mixed six hits with four Oak Harbor errors from there to continue to add on.

The Wildcats scored single runs in the fourth and fifth innings.

Alexa Findley led off the fourth with a walk and scored on Tricia Sarns’ triple.

In the fifth, Kelly Findley doubled in Sydney White, who had singled.

Alexa Findley finished 2-for-2; Kat Martinez added a single.

Oak Harbor (0-4, 1-9) plays Mountlake Terrace (1-2, 4-6) at home at 4 p.m. Friday, April 18.
