Coupeville, Freeland libraries offer free business workshop

Whidbey Island residents can head to the Coupeville or Freeland libraries on Friday, Nov. 6 to participate remotely in a free day-long interactive presentation on how businesses, communities and people can thrive in Island and Snohomish counties.

Whidbey Island residents can head to the Coupeville or Freeland libraries on Friday, Nov. 6 to participate remotely in a free day-long interactive presentation on how businesses, communities and people can thrive in Island and Snohomish counties.

Dubbed TedxSnoIsleLibraries, the event will feature 23 speakers and runs from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Speakers will include accomplished economists, educators, engineers, filmmakers and musicians.

The event is designed to further the mission of Sno-Isle Libraries to be a community doorway to reading, resources, and lifelong learning, and a center for people, ideas, and culture, according to a prepared release. Online registration is required, at sno-isle.org/tedx/attend.
