CHS athletes earn 8 more all-league selections

The all-league members of the track and golf teams were announced by the conference Wednesday, May 29.

Twelve other Wolves picked up all-league honors when the baseball, softball and soccer all-conference teams were announced earlier in the month.

Freshman Makana Stone earned first-team, all-league honors in four track events: 100 meters, 200 meters and 4×200 and 4×400 relays.

She was joined on the 4×200 team by seniors Madison Tisa-McPhee and Jai’Lysa Hoskins and freshman Sylvia Hurlburt; and on the 4×400 squad by Hoskins, sophomore Marisa Etzell and freshman Kirsten Pelroy.

Tisa-McPhee was also first team in the 100- and 300-meter hurdles and on the second-team 4×100 relay with Etzell, Hurlburt and Hoskins.

Sophomore golfer Christine Fields earned first-team honors, and senior brother Austin was a second-team choice.
