I have concerns about Whidbey General Hospital and would like to know more about how affiliation with another hospital might improve things. Given this, you’d think I’d be supporting Rob Born.

But I simply cannot vote for Born.

During the candidate forum Sept. 29 in Langley, Born showed such anger in his opening statement that it felt like a nuclear bomb had gone off.

If this is how he conducts himself when he has time to prepare his opening statement, then it’s clear to me that his election to the board would be a disaster for the hospital district.

Who would want to work for Whidbey General when he was on the board?
