6 Flyers earn regional titles

The Island Flyers produced six champions at the Region 1 and 2 Trampoline and Tumbling Championships April 29 in Las Vegas.

Ten Flyers participated, and all earned at least a fourth place or better in their divisions in the competition that featured athletes from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah and Wyoming.

The Flyers’ Paris Quinn earned All-Around Regional Champion by finishing first in all three events in her class: trampoline, tumbling and double mini trampoline.

Alyssa Monger was first in trampoline and tumbling and second in double mini.

Cassidy Gore also won two events, double mini and tumbling, and was second in the other, trampoline.

Tiana Miles captured double mini and grabbed second in trampoline and tumbling.

Emma Suley was the trampoline champion and placed second in double mini and third in tumbling.

Ava Vallencourt earned the trampoline title.

The Flyers are coached by Cindi Quinn of Oak Harbor’s Leaps and Bounds Dance and Tumbling Center. The national finals are in Tulsa in July.
