20,000 guests still too many

I read with amusement the letter from Helen Bates about “poor” Paula Spina and her mean, unappreciative neighbors.

I read with amusement the letter from Helen Bates about “poor” Paula Spina and her mean, unappreciative neighbors.

The approval Paula received allows her to bring 200 people on the property for 30 days a year and 50 people a day for the rest of the year with the exception of one weekend per month. That would allow Paula, for commercial purposes, to bring more than 20,000 people onto the property every year.

I would ask Ms. Bates how she would like to have a nice home in the country and suddenly, her neighbor receives approval to bring over 20,000 people a year onto her property. Would she find this acceptable? How would she like several thousand autos a year turning around in her front yard because only right turns are permitted to enter and exit the barn parking area? Would she now be a happy neighbor?
