Saratoga Chamber Orchestra lands musical guest

Whidbey Island’s Saratoga Chamber Orchestra has announced the return of violinist Elizabeth Pitcairn to Whidbey Island as featured guest soloist with the Saratoga Chamber Orchestra.

Whidbey Island’s Saratoga Chamber Orchestra has announced the return of violinist Elizabeth Pitcairn to Whidbey Island as featured guest soloist with the Saratoga Chamber Orchestra.

Under the artistic direction of Conductor Legh W. Burns, the SCO presents this special Gala Concert at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 15, at South Whidbey High School. The program will open with the Overture to Egmont, by Ludwig van Beethoven, and includes the world premiere of a piece by SCO timpanist Kit Mills, who lives and teaches in Oak Harbor.

General Admission tickets are $20 adult and $18 senior/military. Students 18 and under are admitted free; under 14 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
