AAUW gears up for fashion show

The Whidbey Island Branch of American Association of University Women is planning their Annual Spring Luncheon and Fashion Show to be held Thursday, March 25, at the Whidbey Golf & Country Club, Oak Harbor.

The Whidbey Island Branch of American Association of University Women is planning their Annual Spring Luncheon and Fashion Show to be held Thursday, March 25, at the Whidbey Golf & Country Club, Oak Harbor.

No-host cocktails will be offered from 11 a.m. to noon. AAUW models will highlight fashions from owner Deb Crocker’s Coupeville stores, “Beyond the Sea,” “One More Thing” and “Back to the Island” which will feature lovely accessories from scarves to handbags and jewelry, and great jackets, sweaters and slacks.

AAUW is a national organization over 125 years old whose mission is advancing equity for women and girls through education, advocacy and research. Proceeds from this fundraiser will go toward scholarships for Whidbey Island students.
