I am writing in response to Richard Mack’s recent letter. He says we are all paying for the war.
Well, I personally haven’t seen any change in my taxes since the war started. We are all getting off scot-free, except of course, for the troops.
The fact is we are not paying for the war. Instead we are borrowing a billion dollars a day from the Chinese and others.
It is our grandchildren who will pay for the war when the bonds come due.
