Unhappy with port’s Greenbank Farm vote | Letter

Ah! Thank you, Port of Coupeville commissioners. Finally, you have shown your true nature: blatant tyranny, clear collusion and hit and run tactics.

Editor,

Ah! Thank you, Port of Coupeville commissioners. Finally, you have shown your true nature: blatant tyranny, clear collusion and hit and run tactics.

Congratulations!

The moral compass is clear enough, enough being nice, enough being trusting and acting in open good faith. The higher ground has been shown and you are clearly not on it.

Rather that thanking this big-hearted community for keeping the Greenbank Farm, a county treasure, alive and thriving, despite the continual presentation of economic facts and feats by farm management, tenants and supporters.

The Port has chosen at every turn to be a constant hurdle and barrier to its success by draining staff and volunteers.

We are as much your constituents as those with whom you are collaborating.

Enough.

The troops are rallied, the forces called forth.

However, needless and exhausting as it may be, the reality of obdurate, morally bankrupt Port commissioners will be dealt with.

The heart of the Greenbank Farm community will endure, persist and prevail. Shame on you.
