Smart thing is to exercise caution and protect planet

Editor,

If I were to set my political views and biases aside, the bottom line for me would be that we should all choose to be honest and admit that sometimes we just don’t know as much as we may think we do.

In regards to “climate change” or “global warming,” or whatever other label one wishes to push, it seems to me that the smart thing to do would be to use caution as a wise guide and do whatever we can to protect our planet.

Lessen your footprint in small or big ways, it all matters, and it all adds up, not just for us — here and now — but for those who will come after us.
