On March 10, 2014, the Whidbey News-Times reported on the settlement of the lawsuit brought by Neil Romney and Vikki Robinson against the North Whidbey Park and Recreation District.

The only bond measure I have voted for since establishing residence on this island was the transportation bond of a few years ago.

Of course we have freedom of speech. Residents are free to speak as outrageously as they choose. It is a basic American right. Basic morality, however, also requires citizens to be free from involuntary representation.
