Letter: Wright is best choice for change

Editor,

I won’t address integrity, though I could and should, I’ll give all of the candidates the benefit of the doubt at this time…

What needs to be addressed is the qualification for the position of mayor.

Only one of the candidates meets all the criteria to be the next leading advisor, nudging our community into the bright future we all deserve.

I am enthused and amused that our city council fledgling is audacious enough to assume he has the experience needed to vie for the job. Good for him, however, he is clearly less qualified for the seat he seeks than the other three persons on the ballot.

It’s just time to elect an enthusiastic, uber-educated, engaged, proven and successful candidate who can, as a fiscal conservative (with extreme qualifications) guide us, without duress, into the future we have been denied for decades.

Stepping back in time will be counterproductive and only please certain fish in this here pond. It’s time to vote, and it’s not just about change, it’s about choice.

You only have one box to check, so if “you care about this town,” there’s only one clear nomination for our all around betterment, and that’s Ronnie Wright…

One last thing,: I’d really like to see official resumes for all four candidates, not just verbal vomit making coached suggestions into what qualifies these men for this job. Resumes are required for every job, everywhere, all the time.

Pony up pals, prove me Wright!
