IDIPIC gets the job done

It is with a great deal of pleasure and gratitude, that Central Whidbey Youth Coalition recently presented the Impaired Driving Impact Panel of Island County with $2,000 as a donation.

Since 2008, the board president, Charlene Price, and I, have attempted to maintain our mission through support of any non-profit organization that has youth as its primary concern. We have decided it is time to close our 501c3 organization since we cannot continue our prevention mission alone.

We strongly feel that IDIPIC does the absolute best job when it comes to substance abuse prevention and the education of all Island County teens concerning impaired driving. IDIPIC supports teens to make healthy decisions, especially when it comes to using drugs or alcohol.

It is our fervent hope that other Island County organizations will meet our challenge to donate dollars to IDIPIC in continued support of this all important work.

Thank you, JoAnn, and thanks to your terrific board of directors who have supported such essential outreach, day after day, via public panels and community service on many levels.
