I just wanted to pass a short note on to say thank you to the city of Oak Harbor and all the visitors who supported businesses on Pioneer Way during Holland Happening. It appeared that the attendance was up and all were having a great time. The atmosphere looked like the town “Rocked the Street” with patience and understanding of the construction zone. The patronage that the people of Oak Harbor showed in these difficult economic times during the construction was well needed.

Special thanks needs to go to Jill Johnson and the Chamber of Commerce for a well job done. The volunteers and staff that she had to keep the street clean and safe were amazing.
