Help House’s help’s amazing

As a non-profit organization, Help House relies heavily on the community to feed the hungry. Though we are non-profit, we still have operating expenses and projects that need to be done to our 115-year-old facility. We would like to take this opportunity to thank several people and organizations that have helped us recently with some of those projects:

First, to Island Thrift for paying for some much-needed repairs to our kitchen floors. A huge thanks to Jim, Rory, and Mike, volunteers from VP-1, and Help House volunteers Tim Noe, Carl Letman and Terry Shirley for their help in building a retaining wall to keep our new driveway intact. The driveway project was donated by Jerry and Candace Keach, owners of The Gravel Doctor. Once again, the generosity of this community never ceases to amaze us. Our sincerest thanks to all.

JEAN WIEMAN,

Help House
