Doubtful state parks will support purchase | Letter

Editor,

Did the Deception Pass manager, Jack Hartt, just awake from a deep sleep?

Having a visitor center is an excellent idea.

Several years ago, there was such a center in a lovely A-Frame building that stood on the corner to the park entrance. The State of Washington would not support it, and after being empty for several years, it became an art center. Recently, it sold and became a church — not the best location for such a purpose.

I seriously doubt that a visitor center at the Seabolt’s location would be supported.
