I was appalled by the coverage of the Island County Commissioners’ meeting as reported in the Jan. 6, 2018 issue.

Although the photo included Greg Banks and Helen Price Johnson, I knew that Helen could not have been the one doing the name calling.

The writer quoted “Johnson” as calling Banks “a snake.”

Because both commissioners have the same last name, the writer did not make clear which one was doing the name calling.

It wasn’t until I read the “In Our Opinion” column that it was made clear that the other Johnson, Jill, was who acted outrageously and shamefully.
