The Oak Harbor School District is currently facing a large budget deficit and is searching for solutions. One idea has been to close Clover Valley Elementary, but I believe there may be a better one. Instead of closing Clover Valley, close Oak Harbor Elementary. Then move the district office over to Oak Harbor Elementary and sell the district office property.

This would provide not only the savings of closing a building but also a large amount of cash to take care of the current shortfall.
