Annual garden club tour, tea will be returning next year

Editor,

From the Oak Harbor Garden Club to all our faithful followers on our yearly Garden Tour & Tea, we want to let you know that after much discussion and with sadness we decided to cancel the Garden Tour for this year.

A big thank you to the garden owners that were already working hard to having their gardens on the tour.

For the health of everyone we felt it the best thing to do at this time.

If we had the tour we probably would not have included the social tea and entertainment, and how disappointing that would be for everyone.

Thank you also to the vendors who were willing to handle ticket sales. We can’t do this without you.

If all goes as planned, the garden owners have agreed to be on the tour next year, so hope to see you all then.

Have a great summer, stay healthy and get ready for a great tour next year.

Linda Bos, chairwoman

and committee members,
