Congressional approval is polling at an all time low, the surprising thing is that pollsters can find  anyone other than defense contractors and lobbyists who approve of their monumental failures. They’ve simply stopped doing the job we hired them to do and should be fired, all of them. If we vote every incumbent out their replacements will surely get the message and start working together.

Incumbent response to this movement is completely predictable; each will say: “I know Congress is broken but I’m one of the good guys. I’m on your side, if I’m not there to fight for you things will get even worse.”  Incumbents are master manipulators, they can spin and cherry pick facts to support any position while selling half truths as gospel. That’s how they got to be incumbents.

You can expect a frenzy of finger pointing; don’t fall for it. Don’t think your representative is OK and it’s all those other guys causing the gridlock. The problem is systemic and each congressman, no matter how well intended, is part of an irretrievably broken system. We need a new team that will work together.

Let’s send Congress a message they can’t ignore: pink slips to all of them!
