Vertigo avenges last week’s loss / Sailing

Vertigo, skippered by Shannon Buys, picked up some revenge — barely — in the second race of the Oak Harbor Yacht Club’s Frostbite Series Thursday, March 21.

Vertigo nipped Wind Warrior, skippered by Dean Vandament, by a corrected time of one second, avenging Wind Warrior’s win a week earlier.

Renaissance, with Dave Steckman at the helm, took third, followed by Pearl Jem (Larry Munns), Separator (Bill Brown) and Sojourn.
