Khac Chi performs at Whidbey Island’s Center for the Arts in Langley continues its 2001-2002 Family Series Feb. 8 with the Khac Chi Ensemble, a trio of Vietnamese musical virtuosos now based in Vancouver.

Playing rare instruments from the Vietnamese highlands, the group is famous for their musical skills and innovation throughout Vietnam. The musicians play more than a dozen instruments, some over 2000 years old, and their repertoire ranges from classic Vietnamese compositions to the theme from The Godfather.
