Monday, June 30
At 11:48 a.m., a Southeast Ely Street resident reported that a nervous boy came to his door and asked for $20 to buy cat food.
At 11:56 a.m., a caller reported that a large swarm of bees were swirling around a State Highway 20 location.
At 2:19 p.m., a resident of State Highway 20 reported that he and his wife were throwing water at each other and then she bit his arm and kicked his leg.
At 2:30 p.m., there was a report that a woman at a bus stop on Midway Boulevard was screaming that she doesn’t want to live.
At 3:07 p.m., a Crosby Avenue resident reported that her wayward chicken wandered off.
At 4:47 p.m., a man reported that an extremely sunburned woman asked him strange questions while he was walking near State Highway 20.
Tuesday, July 1
At 1:41 p.m., a Southeast Eighth Avenue resident reported that a shirtless man with a hairy chest and beard came to her door and asked for a glass of water and to use the bathroom.
At 7:31 p.m., a caller reported that a man at a Southwest Kimball Drive residence was cutting a cast off a child’s leg with a Dremel tool and cut her.
Wednesday, July 2
At 8:02 a.m., a Southwest Eighth Avenue resident reported that raccoons were in the backyard during daytime hours.
At 1:06 p.m., a caller reported that a truck dumped a load of nails on State Highway 20.
At 3:40 p.m., a Northeast Sixth Avenue resident reported finding a bullet hole in a window of a house.
At 9:56 p.m., a driver reported that a tailgater followed the caller’s car into the Saars parking lot and threw a water bottle at the car.
At 11:22 p.m., a Northeast Seventh Court resident reported seeing strange white and orange lights in the sky, possibly from a drone.
