Letter: WhidbeyHealth provides high-quality care

So often we hear criticism of our hospital in Coupeville, WhidbeyHealth. I recently was hospitalized for a fractured hip and the care that I received starting from the ambulance to the ED to all the staff in the hospital was honestly rather phenomenal. As a retired registered nurse, I can be pretty picky about my health care. Everyone treated me with respect, kindness and were more helpful than you can even imagine. I’m hoping that the image of bad health care from the past will be changed by experiences like mine.
