Oak Harbor High School’s boys 4×100 relay team finished fourth in the state 3A track meet Saturday, May 26, at Tacoma’s Mount Tahoma High School.

The Hardin brothers, senior Taeson and junior Dorian, senior Andrew Miller and junior Jeff Gordon teamed up to post a 42.95 in the finals to nab fourth place.

Lakes won the event in 41.68.

Two individuals also competed for the Wildcat boys at state, and both finished 14th. Mac Nuanez ran the 400 (51.5), while Ozell Jackson took part in the triple jump (39-05.75).

Tony Pizzillo of Shadle Park took the 400 (48.72) and Elijah Jackson of Chief Sealth was the triple jump champion (46-04.75).

For the Oak Harbor girls, senior Amaya Rittierodt placed 13th in the 100 meters (12.93) and 12th in the 4×100 relay (50.95) with sophomore Maria Dailey and seniors Alora Caillier and Kia Ceya.

Carlee Sams of Kelso captured the 100(12.21) and Gig Harbor won the 4×100 (48.67).
