Marysville Getchell recorded five of the top six scores on the way to defeating the Oak Harbor High School girls golf team 531-628 Monday, April 23, at the Cedarcrest Golf Course.
The Chargers’ Abby Braun was medalist with a 91.
Beth Paul paced Oak Harbor with a 114, good for fourth overall. Danalin Matro shot 121, Jenna Flores 128, Jessica Aguilar 131, Makenna Ronning 134 and Kylie Rogers 142.
While squad didn’t win, coach Andy Wesley said, “We are getting better as a team.”
Oak Harbor plays a non-league match at Stanwood’s Camaloch Golf Course at 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 25.
