Vashon Island topped the Coupeville High School soccer team 3-1 in a non-league match Monday, April 2, at Mickey Clark Field.

William Nelson scored the Wolves’ goal.

The Pirates raised their season record to 6-1-2; Coupeville slipped to 4-3-1.

The Wolves face another rugged tough opponent when Forks visits at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 7. The Spartans are 6-0 this season, including five shutout wins.
