Photographer John Fisken caught some of the action of the cross-town volleyball rivalry between Oak Harbor and North Whidbey middles schools Wednesday, Dec. 14.

Here are a few shots of the seventh- and eighth-grade varsity matches.

This was the final volleyball contest between the teams before the reconfiguration of the schools. Next year Oak Harbor Middle School will house fifth- and sixth-grade students, and North Whidbey will include seventh- and eighth-graders.
