Oak Harbor finishes 11th at B-E Inivitational | Girls golf

The Oak Harbor High School girls golf team posted the best score of the four Wesco North schools who took part and finished 11th overall in the 24th Annual Burlington-Edison Girls Invitational at the Skagit Golf and Country Club Monday, April 18.

Kamiak won the 24-team tournament with a 347. The Wildcats finished with 437.

Each school entered six golfers, with three playing 18 holes and three playing nine. The highest nine-hole score was dropped in determining the final team total.

Jessica Monaghan shot a 102, Resego Mooki 104, Terra Baird 110, Hannah Taylor 57, Beth Paul 64 and Suzanne Kaltenbach 64.

Oak Harbor gets back into Wesco North competition when it hosts Stanwood at 3 p.m. Thursday, April 21.
