The Stanwood High School tennis team moved to within a half game of league leader Snohomish by defeating visiting Oak Harbor 7-0 Wednesday, April 25.

The Spartans are now 8-1 (10-3) in conference play; Snohomish is unbeaten at 8-0 (12-0).

Oak Harbor fell to 2-6 (3-9).

The Wildcats play Marysville Getchell (1-8, 3-10) at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, April 26, on the Oak Harbor High School courts.
