Oak Harbor cruises by Getchell in 1st match / Tennis

The Oak Harbor High School tennis team knocked off visiting Marysville Getchell 6-1 Thursday.

Winning for Oak Harbor were Nick Krantz (6-0, 6-0), Micah Franklin (6-0, 6-3), Ezra Franklin (6-0, 6-0), Samuel Peek/Ethan Snell (6-0, 6-0) and Yuji Caballero/Kyle Brown (6-2, 6-4).

Jerome Dones and Isaac Brady were edged 3-6, 6-1, 10-8 in third doubles.

Oak Harbor (1-0) goes to Meadowdale (2-0) at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16.
