The Coupeville High School softball team enacted a little revenge to complete its improbable journey to the state tournament.
Patriotism was overflowing onto the streets of Coupeville Saturday as the community gathered for the annual Memorial Day Parade and celebration.
Starting on South Main Street, decorated cars and floats filled the streets. People walked the parade route waving American Flags, tossing candy and honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
Coupeville High School will be represented in four state tournaments this week.

The level of competition at the 1A tri-district track meet was tough this year – just ask Coupeville’s Makana Stone.
Makana Stone placed among the top eight in two events at the tri-district track meet preliminaries at King’s Thursday, May 22, and earned spots in the finals.

11:35 a.m., a caller at the Country Store reported someone just shoplifted and was walking toward the hospital.
