Youth wrestling: WWWC starts season with pair of wins

The Whidbey Wildcat Wrestling Club hosted and won two tournaments this weekend in a promising start to the 2010-11 season.

WWWC earned 16 points to win the Salute to Veterans Tournament Saturday, Nov. 6, over 17 other teams, then picked up 11 points Sunday to capture the Kickoff Novice event.

Over 200 wrestlers ages 5 to 18 competed in the tournaments.
