Wolves wallop Turks / Soccer

The Coupeville High School soccer team collected its first ever win in North Sound Conference play by blasting visiting Sultan 6-0 Thursday, Sept. 13.

“It was another good step forward; we were able to work on our attack in this game,” coach Kyle Nelson said.

Avalon Renninger, Lindsey Roberts and Mallory Kortuem each scored a pair of goals for the Wolves.

Coupeville (1-1, 1-2-1) plays a non-league match at Chimacum (1-2) at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15.
