Wolves stuff Anacortes / Volleyball

After knocking off a smaller school (2B Friday Harbor) in its season opener, the Coupeville High School volleyball brought down a bigger foe (2A Anacortes) 3-1 Tuesday, Sept. 11, in Coupeville.

The Wolves will now put their modest 2-0 undefeated record on the line when they open North Sound Conference play at unbeaten Cedar Park Christian-Bothell (4-0) at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18.

Coupeville defeated Anacortes 27-25, 16-25, 25-16, 25-23.

Emma Smith led the Wolves with 12 kills; Scout Smith added 22 assists.
