Led by a sweep of the singles matches, the Oak Harbor High School tennis team won 5-2 at South Whidbey Friday, March 21.

Led by a sweep of the singles matches, the Oak Harbor High School tennis team won 5-2 at South Whidbey Friday, March 21.

The Wildcats received singles wins from McKenzie Perry (6-0, 5-7, 6-1), Zena Husler (6-1, 6-1), Jamie Estrella (7-6[7], 6-2) and AnnaBelle Whitefoot (6-1, 6-3).

Caterina Amsler and Hannah Gluth added a 6-4, 6-0 win in second doubles.

Oak Harbor dropped the first and third doubles matches: Chelsea Admire/Alyssa Eden lost 6-1, 6-3; and Ria Bains and Jastine Sanchez lost 7-5, 2-6, 6-2.

Erina Horikawa/Patrice Woodworth (8-0) and Taylor Edwards/Whitefoot (8-1) won JV matches.

Oak Harbor, now 3-0 for the season, plays its first conference match at Marysville Getchell (1-0) at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 25.
